Parent Organization: Academic



1. Scholarship- Students who achieve a cumulative 3.75 GPA in academic courses are invited to join PHS.  As a group of 500+ members, PHS prides itself on the fact that our diverse membership is composed of some of the brightest and hardest working students on campus.  


2. Leadership- Members are given the opportunity to serve as Project Coordinators, or team leaders who oversee a successful service project.  Coordinators may take on an already existing service project, or create a new one if they would like.  PHS has as many as twenty Project Coordinators throughout the year, and we are always pushing our members to take up leadership roles in the community.


3. Service- As a service based organization, PHS members as a group volunteer thousands of hours every academic year to better our university and surrounding community.  We take pride in the fact that we are the most active service organization on campus, and we are constantly looking for new and exciting ways to offer help to our school, our peers, and the city of Albany.
