Sigma Iota Sigma Multicultural Sorority, Inc. is dedicated to the education and celebration of diversity in colleges, universities and surrounding communities. Its purpose is to educate and celebrate multiculturalism and the empowerment of women in order to create environments that foster awareness, growth and the unification of all individuals.
It is through the education and appreciation of all people, backgrounds and cultures that society can begin to alleviate those prejudices that have had a negative impact throughout history. As Sisters of Sigma Iota Sigma Multicultural Sorority, Inc. we are committed to setting examples of how people from different backgrounds and cultures can work together to achieve common goals. By recognizing each Sister's individuality and celebrating our differences, we encourage each other to contribute our visions and voices to society - making a difference in the present, for the future.
